What are the symptoms of Neuropathy?

What are the symptoms of Neuropathy?

Every movement in our body is controlled by our nerves. When you experience the following symptoms, it might be a sign that your nerves are not optimally nourished:

  • Numbness
  • Muscle cramps in the back and shoulder
  • Tingling sensation
  • Muscle weakness
  • Twitching
  • Increased sensitivity to touch
  • Burning sensation
  • Loss of balance

When it comes to nerve health, it is “better safe than sorry”! Early diagnosis and treatment is important, even if the symptoms seem nothing important. If diagnosed early, nerve damage can be better handled and nerve fibers can regenerate. However if nerve fibers are severely damaged (i.e. >50% damage), nerve regeneration capacity can be compromised and nerve damage could be irreversible.
